Ancol Slicker Brush
A small wire brush specifically designed for small animals
Its ball-tipped stainless steel pins are mounted on an air cushion base to penetrate the coat without scratching. We use it on moulting ferrets, instead of hand 'plucking', because it really does remove tangles and dead hair, reducing the amount of hair shed on to us.
However, your ferrets may find the brush a bit uncomfortable for regular all year round use. So between moults we use a softer brush, like the Super Pet Petting Brush above.
